New Texts (not free).  The first two are short and can be read in 1 or 2 hours.  The science in the first one appears to be accurate.  The second one contains case studies.  The third, Hayhoe's book, is excellent especially for learning how to have an impact when educating people about climate change.  I have not read or looked at the last three.
